Key Stage 1

Our Key Stage 1 classes focus on embedding the key skills and behaviours necessary for learning. Each morning, Year 1 and 2 have a focus on phonics, handwriting and number facts, before learning through stories and maths using practical resources. Both classes follow the same curriculum topics in the afternoon, with a variety of Art, History, Geography, PE, RE, Design and Technology, and more, to ensure that there is progression between the two classes as the children develop. 

PE for Delphinus is on Wednesday and Friday

PE for Pegasus is on Tuesday and Friday

We're really fortunate to have access to Sports Coaching during the year and your child may have impromptu PE lessons throughout the year. They will not need PE kit for these lessons.
